EVAN FONTAINE SINGS NEW MUSIC
Whether he's in a church, art gallery, or theater, Evan Fontaine will sing new music. There is no stopping him. There is no containing him. He sings old music, but this website is about new music. He composes new music to sing. His friends compose new music for him to sing. He is a singer.
He currently sings in C4, the Choral Composer/Conductor Collective in New York City. This ensemble is notorious for programming new choral works, both by composers inside and outside the group. At Indiana University, he had the privilege of singing with NOTUS, the Contemporary Vocal Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Dominick DiOrio. Outside of the choral realm, he is an active chamber, indie, and alt rock singer.
